Process Improvement Engineer

About the role

The Process Improvement Engineer will support NFP’s manufacturing and shared business units by analysing data, identifying gaps, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role combines auditing, project management, and food‑safety expertise to enhance operational performance and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, interpret and analyse raw data from multiple sources to produce decision‑support reports.
• Lead internal audits, identify gaps, perform root‑cause analysis and define corrective action plans.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing tools (JIT, Six Sigma, 5S, SMED, PDCA) and process‑improvement techniques such as Value Stream Mapping, Flowcharts and Cause‑and‑Effect analysis.
• Support food‑safety teams by maintaining HACCP and BRC compliance, organising meetings and updating documentation.
• Develop, monitor and update performance indicators aligned with organisational objectives.
• Plan, execute and close improvement projects, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule and quality standards.
• Analyse customer survey data (NPS, CSAT) and recommend action plans to improve satisfaction.
• Generate technical and quality reports for leadership, including PID and KPI dashboards.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of manufacturing environments and internal policies.
• Experience with internal auditing and certification (lead auditor for ISO or similar standards is a plus).
• Knowledge of occupational health & safety, food‑safety regulations and legal requirements.
• Proficiency in both national and foreign languages (spoken and written).
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects from initiation to closure.
