Procurement Expeditor - Oil & Gas EPC Projects

About the role

Eram Talent is recruiting a Procurement Expeditor on behalf of a leading EPC client in the Oil & Gas sector in Saudi Arabia. The role ensures that materials, equipment and critical documentation arrive on time so that major EPC projects, specifically Gas Oil Separation Plants (GOSP), stay on schedule. The workplace is on site in Haradh.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main contact between the project team and vendors, monitoring the manufacturing, fabrication and delivery status of procured materials and equipment.
• Track and verify vendor schedules against project milestones, spot potential delays early and put recovery plans in place.
• Work with Procurement, Engineering, Quality Control and Project Management teams to align material requirements and technical specifications.
• Ensure vendor data and documentation such as inspection reports, shipping documents and material certificates are submitted and approved on time.
• Maintain daily and weekly expediting reports, tracking logs and ERP records so stakeholders see procurement status clearly.
• Negotiate and resolve bottlenecks, supply chain disruptions and logistical issues that could delay the project.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a closely related field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in procurement, expediting or supply chain roles.
• Proven experience in the EPC Oil & Gas sector.
• Direct experience with GOSP projects is highly preferred.
• Strong negotiation, problem-solving and communication skills, able to stay calm under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in tracking software and ERP systems.
• Standard MS Office applications, including Excel and Word.
