Procurement Officer

About the role

The Procurement Officer will ensure the timely, cost‑effective, and compliant acquisition of materials, services, and subcontractors needed for construction projects and facilities operations. The role supports project execution while safeguarding the company’s commercial interests.

Key responsibilities

• Execute procurement of construction materials, MEP items, equipment, tools, consumables and services.
• Source and evaluate suppliers on price, quality, delivery capability and compliance.
• Issue purchase orders in line with approved requisitions and authorization limits.
• Develop and maintain an approved vendor list and coordinate contractual terms with Legal/Finance.
• Monitor vendor performance, resolve issues, and ensure delivery timelines.
• Align procurement plans with project schedules, BOQs and operational needs.
• Support finance with invoice verification, GRNs and cost allocation.
• Coordinate with stores to manage stock levels, minimise excess inventory and ensure proper documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement for construction or facilities management projects.
• Familiarity with Saudi procurement regulations and company procurement policies.
• Strong negotiation and vendor‑management capabilities.
• Ability to work closely with project managers, site engineers and finance teams.
