Procurement Specialist – Real Estate & Construction

About the role

The Procurement Specialist will lead sourcing and purchasing activities for real‑estate development and construction projects, ensuring competitive pricing, timely delivery, and compliance with quality standards and budgets.

Key responsibilities

• Implement procurement processes for construction, property operations and development projects.
• Review purchase requisitions, technical specifications, bills of quantities and project requirements.
• Identify, evaluate and pre‑qualify suppliers, contractors, consultants and service providers.
• Prepare and issue RFQs, RFPs and tender documents; analyse technical and commercial proposals.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties and contractual conditions.
• Issue purchase orders, service agreements and maintain procurement documentation.
• Coordinate with project management, engineering, finance, legal and site teams to ensure on‑time delivery.
• Monitor supplier performance on quality, cost, delivery and compliance; maintain supplier database and price lists.
• Track procurement budgets, identify cost‑saving opportunities and prepare regular procurement reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of procurement experience in real‑estate development, construction or property management.
• Experience with construction materials, MEP equipment, professional services and facility‑management services.
• Knowledge of tendering, vendor management, commercial evaluation and contract terms.
• Familiarity with bills of quantities, technical specifications and construction project requirements.
• Professional certification (CIPS, CPSM, CSCP) is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience using procurement reporting tools.
