Production Manager (Thermoforming)

About the role

Gulfmaid is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Production Manager specializing in thermoforming to join its team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The role oversees the entire production cycle so that operations run smoothly and efficiently while meeting safety and quality standards, and involves leading a dedicated team and driving initiatives that improve productivity and reduce waste.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations, keeping processes efficient, cost-effective and aligned with company goals, using tools such as Lean Manufacturing.
• Develop and implement production schedules, coordinating with other departments to meet targets without compromising quality.
• Monitor production metrics and KPIs, analyze data and take corrective action to improve efficiency.
• Lead and mentor production staff, supporting them through regular training sessions.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards through regular audits and inspections.
• Work with engineering and design teams to improve product designs for manufacturability.
• Manage inventory levels with supply chain management to keep materials available while minimizing excess stock.
• Maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) across all shifts and prepare production reports for senior management.
