HSE Officer (Saudi National)

About the role

A leading provider of airport logistics solutions is looking for a tech-savvy HSE Officer (Saudi National) to join its EHS team in Riyadh. The role combines solid Health, Safety and Environment knowledge with advanced computer skills, turning data into actionable insights that support safety and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the organization's HSE policies in line with legal and client requirements.
• Integrate HSE standards across all operations and support projects.
• Ensure accurate HSE reporting and assist with accident and incident investigations, risk assessments and corrective actions.
• Conduct workplace inspections, identify hazards and recommend preventive measures, including inspecting subcontractor facilities.
• Deliver safety training, toolbox talks and inductions, and prepare reports, bulletins and safety communications.
• Take part in internal and external HSE audits and maintain inspection, incident and training registers.
• Manage environmental data (waste, fuel, water, recycling) with logistics and organize digital safety records.
• Analyze safety trends with MS Office and Power BI, build dashboards and reports, and maintain a lessons learned database.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Safety, Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
• At least 5 years' experience as an HSE/Safety Officer in Oil & Gas, industrial projects or O&M environments.
• NEBOSH IGC certification (mandatory).
• Experience preparing safety reports, audits and policies, and conducting workplace audits and inspections.
• Strong analytical skills, organizational skills and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), SharePoint and Power BI.
• Understanding of hazardous materials, safe practices and legal requirements.
• Knowledge of Safety Management Information Systems (SMIS) is an advantage.
