Production Supervisor

About the role

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the industrial production process on the shop floor, ensuring that daily output meets target levels while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality. This role leads a shift team in a refrigerated environment, coordinating closely with maintenance, quality, and supply‑chain functions.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily production operations to achieve defined production targets.
• Lead, coach, and develop the production team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, and all relevant food safety standards.
• Monitor key performance indicators such as OEE, yield, waste, and downtime.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to resolve issues promptly.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Technology, Operations Management or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Production Supervisor in FMCG or food manufacturing.
• Experience in protein processing (poultry, meat, seafood, or plant‑based proteins) is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Willingness to work shift‑based schedules in a refrigerated production environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of HACCP and GMP standards.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, specifically SAP or Oracle.
