Project Accountant

About the role

Wood is seeking a Project Accountant to join its Khobar office in Saudi Arabia. The role supports the delivery of complex energy and renewables projects, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate AR and AP transactions processed by the Shared Services team.
• Monitor ageing, collections status, and supplier balances.
• Handle end‑to‑end revenue activities, including revenue recognition calculations and month‑end revenue entries.
• Prepare month‑end closing journals, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Track contract assets and liabilities and perform project‑related reconciliations.
• Coordinate with Shared Services, Project Controls, and Finance teams as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Good understanding of AR, AP, and revenue processes.
