Project Engineer – Construction & Infrastructure

About the role

The Project Engineer will lead and coordinate construction projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget. You will work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to translate design specifications into successful on‑site execution.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and coordination to meet timeline and budget targets.
• Review project specifications, drawings, and contracts for compliance with design and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues.
• Procure materials, equipment, and services, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to specifications.
• Monitor progress, inspect work quality, identify risks or delays, and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, drawings, change orders, and RFIs.
• Support cost estimation, budget management, and financial reporting.
• Liaise with regulatory agencies to obtain permits, approvals, and inspections.
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders, providing status updates and addressing concerns.
• Participate in project meetings and contribute technical expertise to problem‑solving.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years overall work experience.
• At least 5 years of relevant project engineering experience.
• Experience in the GCC region is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, codes, and regulations.
