Project Manager – Industrial Projects

About the role

Join Valmet's Flow Control business as a Project Manager and lead complex industrial projects that deliver valve equipment solutions to customers worldwide. You will combine project management expertise with customer‑focused leadership to ensure safe, on‑time, and on‑budget delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end project execution from order handover through delivery and closure.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, and profitability targets.
• Serve as primary contact for customers, EPC contractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams including engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, logistics, and documentation.
• Handle project changes, contract variations, customer requests, and claims.
• Ensure compliance with company processes, contractual obligations, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
• Prepare and present status reports, forecasts, and performance updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical field.
• Minimum five years of project management experience in industrial equipment, manufacturing, or process industries.
• Proven ability to manage multiple global projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication, leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Independent, structured, and accountable working style with strong organization.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
