About the role
We are looking for a Purchaser/Buyer to monitor inventory, place orders and ensure timely delivery of goods. The role involves negotiating contracts with vendors and coordinating with the warehouse to keep stock levels optimal.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and generate purchase orders using the company procurement system.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff and rigs to ensure correct and timely supply of parts.
- Negotiate and establish payment terms and contracts with local and international suppliers.
- Audit vendor performance and manage local trade agreements.
- Prepare and deliver reports to internal clients and assist with receipt, storage, and delivery of goods.
Required profile
- Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of purchasing or procurement experience.
- Strong analytical abilities and excellent organizational skills.
- Fluent English communication.
Required skills
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
