QA QC Architecture Engineer

About the role

Freyssinet Saudi Arabia is looking for a detail‑oriented QA QC Architecture Engineer to join its team in Jeddah. The role is full‑time and focuses on implementing and managing quality assurance and control systems for all architectural aspects of construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain project‑specific QA/QC plans for architectural works.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications and best practices.
• Review and approve architectural materials, method statements and shop drawings submitted by subcontractors.
• Identify non‑conformances, issue NCRs and coordinate corrective and preventive actions.
• Liaise with project managers, consultants and construction teams to resolve quality issues.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, including inspection records, test reports and audit findings.
• Ensure architectural finishes and installations meet required quality standards.
• Participate in project meetings to report quality performance and provide expert input.
• Promote a culture of quality and safety throughout the project.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a QA/QC Engineer with a focus on architectural elements in large‑scale construction projects.
• In‑depth knowledge of architectural materials, construction methods and international building codes.
• Strong ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications and contract documents.
• Excellent inspection, auditing and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is a significant advantage.
