QA/QC Engineer

About the role

ACSC, a Saudi construction firm, is seeking an experienced QA/QC Engineer for its Projects Department in Riyadh. The role ensures that all construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, Saudi Building Code, and company quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor ACSC’s Quality Management System and Project Quality Plan across assigned projects.
• Conduct daily site inspections, verify compliance with drawings and specifications, and manage inspection requests.
• Prepare, review and execute Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and Method Statements.
• Issue Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs), follow up on corrective and preventive actions, and close observations within approved timelines.
• Maintain quality documentation, weekly/monthly reports, and KPI summaries for the Project Department Manager.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors and laboratories to resolve quality issues and reduce rework.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or architecture with at least 8 years of QA/QC experience in construction projects.
• Proven experience on villas, residential compounds or multi‑storey residential buildings and strong knowledge of the Saudi Building Code.
• Experience handling material submittals, laboratory testing, and working with consultants, clients and subcontractors.
• ISO 9001 Internal Auditor certification preferred; ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification an advantage.

Required skills

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
• Preparation and review of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and Method Statements.
• Management of Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Corrective/Preventive Actions (CAPA).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for quality reporting.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as Odoo (preferred).
• Knowledge of Saudi Building Code and related construction standards.
