Quality Manager – Bakery (Saudi Arabia)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Quality Manager to lead end‑to‑end quality assurance, quality control and food safety for our bakery plant in Saudi Arabia. You will ensure that all products comply with company standards, Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) regulations and international certifications such as HACCP, GMP, GHP, ISO 22000 and BRCGS.

Key responsibilities

• Build, maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) and Food Safety Management System (FSMS) to meet regulatory and certification requirements.
• Oversee raw material, in‑process and finished‑product inspections, laboratory testing, microbiological analysis, shelf‑life and sensory evaluations.
• Manage non‑conformances, CAPA investigations, product recalls and control of non‑conforming inventory until resolution.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, maintain audit readiness and act as the primary liaison with SFDA and certification bodies.
• Lead the Food Safety Team, conduct review meetings and provide training to production staff.
• Ensure accurate, up‑to‑date documentation of CCP, OPRP and all food‑safety records.
• Monitor and enforce cleaning and sanitation schedules across the facility.

Required profile

• Proven experience in quality assurance or food safety within a bakery or similar food‑production environment.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi food regulations and international standards (HACCP, GMP, GHP, ISO 22000, BRCGS).
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage audits and drive continuous improvement.
