Receiving Clerk (Saudi National)

About the role

Raffles & Fairmont The Red Sea, part of the Red Sea Project, offers two nature-focused resorts with 361 rooms, 11 dining concepts including an overwater restaurant, and a spa. The Receiving Clerk accepts deliveries on behalf of the hotel, verifying shipments against purchase orders and standards, and may perform additional duties assigned by the Cost Controller.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and inspect all incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Verify quantity, quality, specifications and condition of delivered items.
• Report damaged, incorrect or missing items to the relevant department and supervisor.
• Ensure deliveries are documented and recorded in the receiving system, and that goods are moved to storage promptly.
• Check expiry dates and storage requirements for food, beverages and other perishables.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Stores and other departments on deliveries.
• Maintain cleanliness, organisation and hygiene in the receiving area, and follow health, safety and food safety standards.
• Keep accurate receiving records and supporting documents for audits.

Required profile

• Previous experience in receiving, stores or inventory operations is an advantage.
• Experience in pre-opening operations, project coordination and setting up wellness facilities is highly preferred.
• Ability to create culturally relevant wellness experiences suited to the Red Sea destination.
• Honest, reliable, able to work under pressure, with impeccable grooming and presentation aligned to luxury standards.

• Basic computer skills and knowledge of inventory systems.
• Good attention to detail, accuracy in checking quantities, quality and documentation.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
