Registrar – Internal Medicine (Home Healthcare)

About the role

The Registrar – Internal Medicine will deliver comprehensive medical assessment, diagnosis and management for adult patients receiving home healthcare services. Working across Jeddah and Al Khobar, the role combines in‑person home visits with virtual consultations to ensure continuity of care and reduce unnecessary hospital admissions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough medical assessments during home visits and telemedicine sessions.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic internal‑medicine conditions, creating individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe and adjust medications, order investigations, and arrange referrals as needed.
• Monitor patient progress, modify plans based on clinical findings, and identify cases requiring escalation or hospital admission.
• Document all clinical activities accurately and timely in accordance with evidence‑based practice and regulatory standards.
• Educate patients and caregivers on disease management, medication adherence, preventive care and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Collaborate with consultants, specialists, nurses and allied health professionals to ensure coordinated, patient‑centered care.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality‑improvement initiatives and compliance with Ministry of Health and CBAHI guidelines.
