Remote Law Clerk – Commercial Real Estate & Energy

About the role

We are seeking a remote Law Clerk with expertise in commercial real estate and energy to support the training of next‑generation AI systems. Your legal knowledge will be used to review and annotate real‑world land‑control documents, ensuring high‑quality input for model development.

Key responsibilities

• Review and evaluate deeds, ground leases, rights‑of‑way and easement agreements for term, exclusivity and conveyance provisions.
• Identify deficiencies, gaps and execution issues within site‑control documentation packages.
• Organize findings into standardized formats for senior legal review.
• Support due‑diligence workflows by processing and annotating land and real‑estate documents.
• Flag non‑compliant or incomplete filings according to project and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with senior reviewers to escalate and resolve complex document issues.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience as a paralegal or legal document reviewer, preferably in energy, real estate or infrastructure.
• Hands‑on experience with land‑control instruments such as deeds, ground leases, easements and rights‑of‑way.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, document‑heavy environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce structured, standardized outputs.
