Senior Manager – Advisory & Agreements

About the role

The Senior Manager, Advisory & Agreements will provide expert legal counsel to SOPC, leading the drafting, negotiation and alignment of a wide range of agreements. This role ensures legal protection, risk mitigation and supports the organization’s strategic goals during high‑level negotiations and partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on disputes, risk management, compliance with international and Saudi sports regulations, including the Olympic Charter and anti‑doping policies.
• Advise senior leadership on contracts, corporate governance, intellectual property, data protection and other critical legal matters.
• Draft, review and negotiate sponsorship, broadcasting, partnership, service provider and athlete contracts, ensuring alignment with IOC, IPC and other sporting bodies’ rules.
• Act as the primary legal advisor during high‑stakes negotiations, delivering actionable insights on legal risks and opportunities.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution and compliance of all agreements.
• Mentor junior legal staff in contract management, risk assessment and negotiation techniques.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in legal advisory, preferably within sports law or a related regulatory environment.
• Proven track record of managing complex, high‑value agreements and negotiations.
• Strong understanding of international sports regulations and Saudi Arabian sports legislation.
• Ability to communicate legal concepts clearly to senior executives and cross‑functional teams.
