Sales Assistant

About the role
The Sales Assistant supports the store’s sales objectives by delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a clean, well‑presented environment. Working closely with store management, you will help create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits and drives revenue.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain store standards of cleanliness and visual presentation.
- Greet customers promptly with a friendly smile and provide up‑to‑date product information.
- Assist customers in fitting rooms and follow up to encourage purchases.
- Operate the cash wrap efficiently, process transactions, sell gift cards, and keep the area tidy.
- Capture customer details in the store database and thank customers as they leave, inviting them to return.
Required profile
- High school diploma.
- 1–2 years of retail sales experience.
- Strong verbal communication and ability to stand for at least eight hours.
- Capability to perform some heavy lifting.
Required skills
- Customer service.
- Sales transaction handling.
- Basic database entry.
