Salesforce Technical Architect

About the role

A leading digital transformation consultancy is looking for an experienced Salesforce Technical Architect to lead the architecture of a complex, enterprise-scale Salesforce programme for a major organisation in Saudi Arabia. This is a senior, client-facing role combining architecture leadership with hands-on technical involvement, shaping the Salesforce ecosystem, integration landscape and data architecture while working with business stakeholders, technical teams and delivery partners.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end Salesforce technical architecture across multiple Salesforce products and platforms.
• Translate business and functional requirements into secure, scalable technical solutions.
• Design integrations between Salesforce and external platforms using APIs, middleware and event-driven technologies.
• Establish data models, API standards and integration patterns.
• Lead technical design reviews, development standards and architecture decisions.
• Support developers through delivery, troubleshooting and technical mentoring.
• Produce architecture documentation, including data models, technical diagrams and integration specifications.
• Contribute to estimation, planning and solution design during pre-sales activity.
• Define data migration approaches and ensure data quality throughout implementation.

Required profile

• 8+ years' experience in Salesforce architecture, solution design and consulting.
• Strong client-facing communication and technical leadership skills.
• Fluent Arabic and English, written and spoken.
• Based in Saudi Arabia or willing to relocate to Riyadh or Jeddah.

Required skills

• Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Experience Cloud; Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud and MuleSoft exposure is highly desirable.
• Deep understanding of Salesforce security, platform limitations, scalability and performance.
• Enterprise integrations, REST APIs, middleware and real-time/batch interfaces.
• DevOps, CI/CD and Salesforce deployment practices.
• Desired: Kafka/Confluent, event-streaming architectures, Data Cloud, Field Service or Revenue Cloud, large-scale programmes in Saudi Arabia or the GCC, and familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.
