Saudi IT Technical Operations Leader

About the role

The role leads the IT function for Meituan’s retail warehouses and stores in Saudi Arabia, overseeing low‑voltage engineering, IT operations, network support and continuous service optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and manage the local IT team, delivering weak‑current engineering, IT operation & maintenance, and network support.
• Lead full‑lifecycle management of new, moved, or expanded warehouse and store projects, from planning and design to construction control, acceptance and settlement.
• Debug, maintain and support overseas terminal devices (PDAs, computers, printers) and IoT hardware (monitoring, access control, sensors) and run a 7×24 hour emergency response mechanism.
• Design, deploy and optimise overseas network architecture, including firewalls, switches, access points and monitoring procedures, ensuring SLA compliance.
• Manage on‑site IT assets according to headquarters standards, covering warehousing, inventory, acceptance, maintenance and disposal.
• Monitor business trends, communicate needs across functions, report progress regularly and drive implementation of IT solutions.

Required profile

• Fluent in Chinese and English; Arabic a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Communication Engineering, System Integration or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in weak‑current engineering, IT operations or network management, with at least 2 years in team leadership.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, provide 24/7 emergency support and relocate long‑term to Saudi Arabia (potentially to other Middle‑Eastern locations).
• Valid local driving licence in KSA preferred.
