Senior ABAP Developer

About the role

The Senior ABAP Developer will join a fast‑growing SAP team in Khobar, delivering high‑quality ABAP solutions across the enterprise landscape. You will work on core ABAP programming, enhancements, performance tuning, and modern SAP technologies such as HANA, OData and Fiori enablement.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain RICEF objects (reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms) using procedural and object‑oriented ABAP.
• Implement SAP enhancement framework solutions (User Exits, BAdIs, implicit/explicit enhancements) following best practices.
• Optimize performance with Open SQL, Native SQL, indexing, buffering, and parallel processing; use ST05, SAT and SE30 for analysis.
• Develop integrations via IDocs, BAPIs, RFC, ALE and expose SOAP/REST services, including work with SAP Integration Suite/CPI.
• Apply ABAP on HANA concepts, create CDS views, AMDP procedures and leverage code‑pushdown techniques.
• Build OData services with SEGW, support RAP and enable SAP Fiori applications.
• Manage transports, use version control, and ensure code quality with ATC and Code Inspector.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or related field; SAP certifications are a plus.
• Strong senior‑level experience in SAP ABAP development, including enterprise SAP environments and module integration (especially SAP MM).
• Proven ability to collaborate with functional consultants, technical teams and business stakeholders.
