About the role
The Senior Accountant – Accounts Receivable will support invoicing, payment processing, and account reconciliation to ensure timely cash collection and accurate financial records. You will work closely with sales, customer service, and finance teams to resolve billing issues and maintain smooth operations.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and issue customer invoices accurately and on schedule.
- Apply incoming payments to customer accounts and document all transactions.
- Monitor accounts for non‑payment, delayed payment, and irregularities; conduct collection activities via phone or email.
- Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger and support month‑end closing with AR reports and summaries.
- Resolve billing discrepancies and respond promptly to customer inquiries.
- Maintain organized financial records and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to address client account issues.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 4–6 years of experience in accounts receivable or related finance functions.
- Familiarity with document management, inventory management, and invoice processing.
- Ability to follow company policies, compliance standards, and health‑safety procedures.
