Senior Accountant – Khobar, Saudi Arabia

About the role

Kent is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance team in Khobar, Saudi Arabia on a full‑time basis (48 hours per week). The role focuses on managing accounting entries, invoicing, budgeting, cash collection and ensuring compliance with IFRS and internal financial frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all accounting entries to ensure accuracy and meet corporate deadlines.
• Prepare and process invoices in line with commercial contract terms.
• Report and analyse financial results accurately.
• Lead and supervise the accounting team.
• Calculate billing and cost rates, analyse margins and manage profitability.
• Prepare quarterly budgets and forecasts together with business and finance teams.
• Ensure compliance with the financial management framework and IFRS standards.
• Optimize cash collection, DSO and minimize unbilled items, reconciling related balance‑sheet accounts.
• Liaise with external, internal and client auditors.
• Coordinate with business managers and contracts administrators on contractual matters.
• Conduct ad‑hoc financial analysis and tasks as required.

Required profile

• Recognised accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent) and SOCPA membership.
• 3‑4 years of project accounting experience (total 5‑7 years).
• Experience in budgeting and forecasting, preferably with Big 4 exposure.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI is a plus.
• Strong financial modelling and people‑management skills.
• Good commercial knowledge and experience with ERP systems such as Oracle Cloud.
