Senior AEM Backend Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior AEM Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise‑grade digital experiences using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and modern Java technologies. The role is based in Saudi Arabia and involves collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable, high‑performing solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend solutions built on AEM and Java.
• Build and extend AEM components, services, and administrative functionality to meet business requirements.
• Develop and support Web Content Management (WCM) components and enterprise applications.
• Implement integrations using REST APIs and related web technologies.
• Work with AEM frameworks such as JCR, Apache Sling, Apache Felix, and OSGi.
• Manage project dependencies and builds with Maven and AEM Maven archetypes.
• Collaborate with frontend developers and other technical teams to deliver seamless end‑to‑end experiences.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, optimise performance, and ensure code quality.
• Contribute to architecture discussions, technical documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an AEM backend developer with strong Java expertise.
• Solid hands‑on experience with Adobe Experience Manager and its core architecture.
• Ability to extend AEM functionality and work with administrative features.
• Experience developing WCM components, custom integrations, and enterprise applications.
• Upper‑intermediate (B2) or higher English communication skills.
