Senior Architect – Building Design (Riyadh)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Architect – Building to lead design development and management of building projects in Riyadh, ensuring compliance with Saudi regulations and delivering high‑quality, constructible solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design development from concept through detailed design and construction, adhering to the Saudi Building Code and local authority guidelines.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design activities, including structural, MEP, fire safety, accessibility and landscape integration.
• Review and approve architectural deliverables, manage design interfaces, and resolve clashes.
• Engage with municipal authorities and handle authority design review comments and approvals.
• Provide technical support during tender stages and construction, including RFIs and design changes.
• Mentor junior architects and ensure document control and quality assurance.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in architectural design and building project management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• Extensive knowledge of Saudi Arabia’s building codes and local authority procedures.
• Proven experience delivering building projects in Riyadh or other major Saudi cities.

Required skills

• Architectural design software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD).
• Building Information Modeling (BIM) and clash detection.
• Knowledge of Saudi Building Code and international standards.
• Experience with sustainable design and green certifications (LEED, Estidama).
