Senior Audit – Utilities & Energy (Riyadh)

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a Senior Auditor to join its Utilities & Energy practice in Riyadh. The role involves delivering high‑quality audit services, building stakeholder trust, and applying innovative tools such as AI to improve efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Build trust with stakeholders by understanding service expectations and delivering reliable audit outcomes.
• Deliver high‑quality audit services while considering regulatory and risk‑management impacts.
• Adapt and issue referral instructions that clearly define audit scope and focus areas.
• Liaise with on‑shore and off‑shore Centers of Excellence, ensuring accurate and complete information exchange.
• Track deliverables from component auditors and link risks, controls, procedures and findings across the engagement.
• Articulate audit quality milestones and ensure they are met throughout the audit cycle.
• Prepare documentation that anticipates reviewer questions and distinguishes accounting from auditing judgments.
• Apply AI tools in the audit context, using prompt‑engineering fundamentals while exercising professional skepticism.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of public‑auditing experience, preferably with a Big‑Four firm.
• International accounting qualification desired (SOCPA, CA, ACCA, CPA).
• Fluent in English; bilingual Arabic/English preferred.
