Senior BIM 4D Manager

About the role

The Senior BIM 4D Manager will lead the delivery of 4D planning and schedule simulation across large‑scale infrastructure and mixed‑use developments, ensuring safety, quality and stakeholder collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Champion safety, wellbeing, inclusivity and responsible delivery across every project.
• Develop and maintain organisational standards, procedures and governance frameworks for 4D planning and schedule simulation.
• Define 4D requirements within BIM Execution Plans, ensuring alignment with ISO 19650 information management principles.
• Lead the creation and maintenance of 4D models by integrating BIM models with Primavera P6 or equivalent schedules.
• Validate schedule logic through model‑based simulations, identify sequencing conflicts and delivery risks.
• Produce animations, time‑slices and visual simulations for project reviews and executive reporting.
• Coordinate with BIM Managers, Project Controls, GIS specialists and other stakeholders to maintain accurate 4D environments.
• Facilitate workshops on construction sequencing, logistics planning and accessibility.
• Develop dashboards, executive reports and visual presentations for senior leadership.
• Lead, mentor and develop 4D planners, BIM coordinators and digital delivery specialists.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management or a related discipline.
• Professional BIM and Project Controls qualifications preferred; ISO 19650 certification desirable.
• Extensive experience leading 4D planning and schedule simulation on large‑scale or mixed‑use projects.
• Proven ability to manage BIM data across multidisciplinary teams and deliver complex multi‑package developments.
