Senior Business Development Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Business Development Engineer to drive growth across the Saudi market for a leading electrical manufacturing company. The role combines technical insight with commercial acumen to identify and secure new project opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities and projects throughout Saudi Arabia.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, developers, consultants, EPC contractors, and strategic partners.
• Monitor current and upcoming projects to uncover relevant commercial opportunities.
• Conduct market research and analysis to pinpoint key sectors, clients, and growth prospects.
• Develop and manage strategic accounts, supporting the achievement of sales targets.
• Coordinate with internal teams to craft suitable solutions and commercial proposals.
• Represent the company at meetings, exhibitions, conferences, and industry events.
• Prepare regular reports on market opportunities, projects, clients, and competitors.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of the Saudi private sector, PIF companies, giga projects, developers, consultants, and EPC contractors.
• Experience in business development, market development, strategic account management, or project sales.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills in English.
