Senior C&C Mechanical Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Senior C&C Mechanical Specialist to lead mechanical commissioning activities across our energy and chemicals projects in Saudi Arabia. You will be responsible for ensuring that mechanical systems are installed, tested and handed over to clients in line with the highest quality and sustainability standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute detailed commissioning plans, checklists and performance tests for HVAC, plumbing and piping systems.
• Review design documents, specifications and sub‑mittals to verify compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers and clients to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth hand‑over.
• Verify system performance, troubleshoot deficiencies and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare comprehensive commissioning reports and hand‑over documentation.
• Mentor junior staff and drive continuous improvement of commissioning processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in mechanical system commissioning, preferably in the energy, chemicals or resources sector.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and piping systems.
• Familiarity with industry standards such as ASHRAE, SMACNA and LEED.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication and leadership abilities.
