Senior Consultant / Assistant Manager – Risk & Regulations (FAAS)

About the role

EY is seeking a Senior Consultant / Assistant Manager to join its Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) team in Riyadh. You will work with banks, insurers and other financial institutions on complex finance transformation, accounting and regulatory projects.

Key responsibilities

• Advise financial‑services clients on finance and regulatory topics, including new regulatory implementations.
• Assess client frameworks against Basel standards, GCC prudential regulation and other market best practices.
• Support ICAAP and ILAAP reviews and provide qualitative/quantitative impact assessments of current and upcoming MENA regulations.
• Deliver finance transformation initiatives and ad‑hoc regulatory reporting matters.
• Supervise and coach junior team members, ensuring their professional development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Economics, Finance, Business Administration or a comparable field.
• 2‑6 years of experience in the financial‑services sector.
• Strong knowledge of Basel standards and GCC local prudential regulation.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical solutions.
• Experience in team handling and project management; a Master’s degree is a plus.
