Senior Contracts Manager

About the role

The Senior Contracts Manager will lead contractual management for a portfolio of power assets that are either operational or under construction. You will ensure compliance with all project agreements, protect the company’s interests, and support senior leadership in risk and dispute management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Project Agreements including Power Purchase Agreements, EPC contracts, O&M agreements and related documents.
• Provide expert advice on contractual aspects, conduct risk assessments and handle disputes.
• Review, assess and prepare contractual claims such as extensions of time and cost claims.
• Maintain contract checklists, identify risks, and report issues to senior management.
• Coordinate with finance, legal, and senior management to meet project objectives.
• Act as the primary point of contact for insurance matters and prepare monthly MIS reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, auditing standards and business ethics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction or construction law (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in large, complex projects within utilities, energy or oil & gas.
• At least 5 years of demonstrable experience handling construction claims.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong knowledge of contract law and drafting of contractual letters, notices, agreements and amendments.
• Understanding of financial, commercial and contractual matters in construction projects.
