Senior Engineering Manager

About the role

We are building an AI‑native home‑financing platform for Saudi Arabia. Our engineers specify, direct and review AI agents that write code, covering the full product stack from origination to collections under SAMA regulation.

Key responsibilities

• Own delivery, technical quality and operational readiness across multiple engineering teams.
• Lead and coach engineering managers and senior engineers, fostering a culture of clarity and sustainable performance.
• Define and standardise AI‑agent workflows throughout the development lifecycle, including planning, implementation, code review, testing and documentation.
• Establish reusable agent workflows, shared context and automated quality gates to improve delivery.
• Guide architecture and cross‑team decisions, ensuring correctness, security, scalability, maintainability and cost efficiency.
• Partner with Product, QA, Security and DevOps to resolve dependencies and validate releases through real user journeys.
• Own hiring, organisational capability and engineering performance, measuring AI impact on delivery quality, lead time, reliability and cost.

Required profile

• 10+ years in software engineering and 4+ years in engineering leadership, with responsibility for multiple teams.
• Strong technical judgment across application architecture, APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, automated testing and production operations.
• Proven experience embedding AI coding tools and agents into team workflows with measurable improvements.
• Ability to design review and validation controls for AI‑generated changes, ensuring human accountability and data protection.
• Track record of developing leaders, communicating priorities clearly and delivering complex cross‑functional initiatives.
