Senior Finance Business Partner

About the role

The Senior Finance Business Partner will work closely with business leaders, project managers and commercial teams to turn financial data into actionable plans that boost project profitability, cash flow and overall performance.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with leaders across Finance, Sales, Procurement and Projects to assess financial impact of operational and commercial decisions.
• Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts and long‑term financial planning using backlog, pipeline, headcount and utilization metrics.
• Prepare monthly forecasts, analyse variances against budget and prior periods, and identify risks and opportunities.
• Review project financials, including revenue recognition, cost‑to‑complete, margin movements and provide scenario analysis.
• Evaluate bids, pricing models and change requests to safeguard margins and cash flow.
• Support project teams to improve milestone acceptance, invoicing, collections and working‑capital metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
• Professional qualification such as CMA, CPA, ACCA or CIMA is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in Finance Business Partnering, FP&A or Commercial Finance.
• Hands‑on experience with project profitability, forecasting, pricing and working‑capital management.
• Background in a project‑based technology, professional services or systems‑integration environment.
