Senior Financial Controller

About the role

Assystem is seeking a Senior Financial Controller to lead financial performance across its complex, multi‑national projects. The role combines project financial control, cost allocation, reporting and governance to ensure profitability and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee project financial performance, monitoring revenue, costs, margins and profitability against budget and forecast.
• Lead cost allocation and inter‑company recharge exercises, developing transparent methodologies aligned with operational activity.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting packages with clear variance analysis and executive‑level dashboards.
• Drive project forecasting, cost‑to‑complete and margin projections, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Support budgeting and scenario analysis, validating assumptions and ensuring alignment with business strategy.
• Strengthen internal controls, ensure compliance with governance standards and support audit requirements.
• Act as a finance business partner to project managers, providing practical guidance to improve financial outcomes.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in project finance or controlling within a large, regulated environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally and influence non‑financial stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to risk management.
