Senior Flight Safety Manager – P121/P135

About the role

The Flight Safety Senior Manager will lead the Safety Management System (SMS) for operations conducted under Part P121 and P135 certificates. You will ensure regulatory compliance, drive safety excellence, and support operational risk management across all helicopter activities.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the effectiveness of SMS provisions against strategic business requirements for P121 and P135 operations.
• Conduct periodic safety and quality audits together with the Quality team.
• Facilitate hazard identification, risk assessment, and the development of safety cases.
• Manage safety and issue reports, leading investigations of accidents and occurrences.
• Maintain and update the Hazard/Risk Register and monitor corrective/preventive actions.
• Provide analysis, reporting, and performance metrics of the SMS to management.
• Promote safety culture across the organization and participate in management and safety meetings.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years (84 months) of experience in aviation safety, risk management, or related fields.
• Proven experience with Safety Management Systems and safety assurance programs.
• Strong background in conducting safety audits and accident investigations.
• Familiarity with FAA/EASA regulations such as GACARs.
• Ability to produce clear safety reports, action plans, and safety case documentation.
