Senior Manager - Landscape

About the role

Botanica, a subsidiary of Red Sea Global, provides sustainable greenery across its destinations, integrating new species with local flora. As Senior Manager - Landscape, you will lead and oversee landscape maintenance operations across assigned projects and destinations, covering operational planning, manpower and resource optimization, budget and cost control, quality, plant health, irrigation performance, HSE compliance, client satisfaction and contractor management, while leading Managers and Supervisors.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and direction for landscape maintenance and develop annual maintenance plans, operational strategies, work programs and resource requirements.
• Lead Landscape Managers, Supervisors, technical teams and the field workforce, and coach them through performance management and succession planning.
• Oversee softscape, horticultural, irrigation, plant health and maintenance activities, and set and monitor KPIs on quality, productivity, costs and service performance.
• Manage manpower planning, deployment and productivity, and oversee irrigation performance, water efficiency, fertilization, pest and disease control, pruning and planting.
• Manage operational budgets, forecasts and expenditure, and coordinate purchase requisitions, POs, invoices, materials, equipment and machinery with Procurement and Finance.
• Manage contractors, suppliers and service providers, and review proposals, scopes of work, BOQs and commercial submissions.
• Ensure HSE, environmental, quality and policy compliance, and resolve client observations and complaints with corrective and preventive actions.
• Mobilize new projects, coordinate with clients and stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement in service quality, productivity, sustainability and cost efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Agriculture, Horticulture, Landscape Management, Plant Production or a related field.
• Minimum 12-15 years of progressive experience in landscape maintenance or horticultural operations, including at least 5 years in a managerial or senior leadership position.
• Experience in large-scale landscape maintenance, luxury hospitality, resorts, facilities management or major development projects is preferred.
• Knowledge of horticulture, softscape maintenance, irrigation, plant health, operational planning, budgeting, contract and vendor management, HSE and quality management.
