Senior Network Engineer

About the role

Penta Consulting, a technology service provider and outsourced partner across EMEA, is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join a major enterprise network transformation programme in Saudi Arabia. The role offers the chance to lead complex customer engagements from design through implementation, working directly with enterprise customers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end planning, design and implementation (PDI) activities for enterprise networking projects.
• Design and deploy Cisco Software Defined Access (SDA), Cisco SD‑WAN, Wireless and Routing & Switching solutions in complex environments.
• Facilitate customer workshops, discovery sessions and technical assessments to gather business and technical requirements.
• Produce high‑level and low‑level designs, migration plans, implementation plans and test documentation.
• Perform installation, configuration, integration, migration and optimisation of enterprise networking solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues during deployment and post‑implementation phases.
• Collaborate with customer stakeholders, project managers, architects and engineering teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote Cisco best practices and operational excellence.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and deploying Cisco SDA, SD‑WAN, Wireless and Routing & Switching solutions in enterprise environments.
• Strong ability to lead end‑to‑end planning, design and implementation activities and to drive technical discussions.
