Senior Audit Associate – Telecom (Riyadh)

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a Senior Audit professional to join its Telecom & Assurance practice in Riyadh. You will work with leading telecom clients, applying audit expertise to deliver high‑quality assurance services while supporting Deloitte’s purpose of making an impact that matters.

Key responsibilities

• Build trust with stakeholders by understanding service level expectations and individual priorities.
• Deliver high‑quality audit services, considering regulatory impact and risk management on business processes and controls.
• Adapt referral instructions to clearly define audit scope, focus areas, and group audit structure.
• Liaise with on‑shore and off‑shore Centers of Excellence, ensuring accurate information exchange and timely deliverables.
• Track component auditor deliverables, linking risks, controls, procedures, and findings across the EMS file.
• Articulate audit quality milestones and challenge audit timing to improve efficiency.
• Prepare documentation that anticipates reviewer questions, distinguishing accounting from auditing judgments.
• Apply AI tools responsibly to enhance audit efficiency, validating outputs and adhering to responsible AI governance.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of public audit experience, preferably with a Big Four firm.
• International accounting qualification desired (SOCPA, CA, ACCA, CPA).
• Fluent in English; bilingual Arabic/English candidates preferred.
