Senior Planning Engineer – Outdoor Construction

About the role

The Senior Planning Engineer is responsible for developing, maintaining, monitoring, and controlling the project programme for outdoor construction works, covering landscape, hardscape, infrastructure, utilities, irrigation, water features, external works and related civil and architectural activities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, monitor and control the project programme for outdoor construction works.
• Cover landscape, hardscape, infrastructure, utilities, irrigation, water features, external works and related civil and architectural activities.
• Coordinate with construction, engineering, procurement, commercial, subcontractors and client/consultant teams to ensure proper planning and resource optimisation.
• Identify potential delays early and implement corrective actions to keep the project on schedule.

Required profile

• Experience with main contractors or major landscape/infrastructure contractors, managing planning for multi‑discipline outdoor projects.
• Willingness to spend time on‑site verifying actual progress and productivity rather than relying solely on reports.
• Proven ability to take a project from baseline planning through execution, recovery planning, delay analysis and final handover.
