Senior Project Manager

About the role

Khibraty is looking for a seasoned Senior Project Manager in Riyadh with extensive experience managing complex projects from initiation through closure, including a proven track record in governmental projects. The role calls for strong leadership, strategic thinking and the ability to handle challenges in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and closure of projects, aligned with organizational strategy and business goals.
• Develop project plans covering timelines, resource allocation and budgets, optimizing human and financial resources.
• Manage risks, issues and changes, using agile and waterfall methodologies as needed.
• Implement quality assurance processes and monitor performance to meet or exceed stakeholder expectations.
• Lead, mentor and motivate project teams, resolve conflicts and foster collaboration.
• Develop a communication plan, act as the main client contact and keep stakeholders engaged throughout the project.
• Set up project governance frameworks, standards and best practices, and drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee handover of deliverables, ensure acceptance, run post-project evaluations and archive project documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum of 10 years in project management.
• Proven experience managing and working on governmental projects.
• PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent certification is a must.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.

Required skills

• Project management software such as MS Project, Jira and Asana.
• MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Strong leadership, decision-making, verbal and written communication, and problem-solving skills.
