Senior Registrar – Endocrinology

About the role

The Senior Registrar in Endocrinology will lead comprehensive patient care for a wide spectrum of hormonal disorders. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence‑based, patient‑centred treatment plans both in‑person and via telemedicine.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough medical assessments, including histories, physical exams, and specialized diagnostic tests.
• Diagnose and manage conditions such as diabetes, thyroid, adrenal, pituitary, and reproductive hormone disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans, monitor chronic conditions, and adjust therapies as needed.
• Collaborate with primary care physicians, specialists, nurses, and allied health professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Provide patient and family education on disease management, lifestyle changes, and self‑care.
• Utilize telemedicine platforms for virtual consultations and follow‑up.
• Participate in population health initiatives, quality improvement projects, research, and clinical audits.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MD, MBBS, or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Endocrinology.
• Board certification or eligibility with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
• Proven experience as a Registrar or similar role in endocrinology.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage complex hormonal disorders.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
• Experience using telemedicine platforms.
