Senior Route Sales Representative

About the role

The Senior Route Sales Representative will manage a defined customer portfolio across a daily route, driving sales volume, minimizing stale inventory, and ensuring high levels of customer service. The role supports PepsiCo’s distribution targets and provides market insights to the sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Sell the full range of PepsiCo products to an agreed list of customers, meeting sales targets and keeping stales below set limits.
• Maintain a daily route plan, ensuring the required call frequency and service standards are met.
• Perform daily and weekly vehicle checks, keep the sales vehicle clean and road‑worthy, and report any defects promptly.
• Agree order requirements for the next selling period and keep customer stock levels within agreed parameters.
• Implement in‑store merchandising standards and coordinate with company merchandisers when needed.
• Provide the supervisor with competitor activity and market information during daily debriefings.
• Reconcile all cheques, cash, and credit sales daily, ensuring zero stock or cash shortages.
• Maintain a professional appearance, adhere to driving regulations, and achieve KPI targets such as sales vs plan, call sequence, and cash accuracy.

Required profile

• Strong customer service orientation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent verbal and written English and Arabic.
• Analytical ability to interpret market data.
