Senior Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of web and mobile applications for our Riyadh‑based operations. The role combines hands‑on coding with architectural guidance, ensuring high‑performance, secure, and scalable solutions across the stack.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web and mobile applications using React, Laravel, and related technologies.
• Build scalable, secure, and high‑performance front‑end, back‑end, and API‑driven solutions.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and backend services supporting both web and mobile platforms.
• Participate in architecture, technical planning, and design decisions aligned with business objectives.
• Write clean, maintainable, well‑documented, and testable code following industry best practices.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and provide technical guidance.
• Optimize performance, scalability, reliability, and security across all platforms.
• Collaborate with product, design, QA, and mobile teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Support releases, monitoring, troubleshooting, and issue resolution in development, staging, and production environments.
• Work closely with DevOps to support CI/CD pipelines, AWS deployments, and infrastructure monitoring.

Required profile

• Strong experience with React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, PHP, Laravel, MySQL, and REST API design.
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and coding best practices.
• Working knowledge of AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, CloudFront, Route 53, IAM, CloudWatch).
• Fundamentals of Linux server administration and Docker containerization.
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, security best practices, and Infrastructure‑as‑Code concepts (Terraform or CloudFormation a plus).
• Experience with Redis, caching strategies, message queues, microservices, and automated testing.
