Senior Software Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our engineering team in Riyadh. You will design, build, and maintain high‑quality, scalable software solutions that meet business requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, high‑performance applications using clean, maintainable code.
• Test applications, diagnose technical issues, debug software, and participate in peer code reviews.
• Develop, integrate, and manage resilient RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Identify system bottlenecks and continuously improve application speed, security, and stability.
• Collaborate with Product, UI/UX, QA, and DevOps teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Maintain technical documentation for system architecture and stay up‑to‑date with modern technologies and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related field.
• 3–5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong analytical and algorithmic problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in at least one major programming language (Java, C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Strong working knowledge of relational and non‑relational databases.
• Experience with API design, integration, and development.
• Hands‑on experience with version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab).
