Senior Software Engineer

About the role

Adree, a subsidiary of Master Works, bridges business and technology through digital solutions covering Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Low-Code/No-Code development, application performance and lifecycle management. It is looking for a Senior Software Engineer with a strong software development background to provide technical leadership, drive engineering best practices and support scalable, reliable, high-quality software. The role combines hands-on development with mentoring, architecture and collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical execution of software initiatives and turn business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Design and contribute to system architecture, including microservices, distributed systems and APIs, and make technical decisions on design, performance and scalability.
• Develop and maintain production-ready software, conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards.
• Work with Product Managers and Designers on technical solutions and delivery approaches.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and guide the team on problem-solving and decisions.
• Support roadmap planning, estimation, prioritization and delivery planning.
• Drive adoption of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes and cloud platforms, and promote Agile/Scrum.
• Address performance, scalability, reliability and security issues, take part in incident management and on-call rotations, and help resolve conflicts.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Minimum 7 years of professional software development experience, including 2-3 years in a technical leadership or team lead capacity.
• Proven track record of delivering production systems at scale, mentoring or managing a team of 3-8 engineers.
• Strong communication skills and ability to balance hands-on coding with team leadership.

Required skills

• Primary programming language such as Java, Python, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript or C#.
• System design and architecture (microservices, distributed systems, APIs).
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP), SQL and NoSQL databases, caching and data modeling.
• CI/CD, Docker and Kubernetes; Terraform or CloudFormation is a plus.
• Git, code reviews, Agile/Scrum, incident management and on-call experience.
