Senior Telecom Engineer

ASSYSTEM is seeking a Senior Telecom Engineer to lead telecommunications and ICT design activities for projects in Al Khobar. The role involves coordinating and supervising telecom, ELV, and design engineers, providing technical direction, and ensuring consistent engineering standards across all telecom projects.

Key responsibilities include leading design of telecom infrastructure such as fiber‑optic and copper networks, OSP/ISP routing, duct‑bank systems, MDF/IDF layouts, structured cabling, LAN/WAN architecture, Wi‑Fi infrastructure, CCTV and access‑control systems, as well as BIM coordination and digital engineering. The engineer will develop technical assessments, ensure compliance with Saudi regulatory requirements, and manage multidisciplinary coordination with architecture, electrical, mechanical, civil, and security disciplines.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in telecom and ICT system design, strong knowledge of Saudi telecom regulations, and proven ability to mentor junior engineers. Technical expertise should cover fiber‑optic backbone design, structured cabling, network redundancy planning, security and surveillance system integration, and BIM model coordination.
