Senior Voice & Collaboration Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Voice Technologies Administrator to manage, support, and optimise enterprise voice and collaboration platforms across the organisation. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Cisco Meeting Server, Avaya Voice Solutions and IP‑telephony environments. This role ensures high availability, performance, security and reliability of voice and collaboration services.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, maintain and support Cisco CUCM clusters, voice gateways, SIP trunks and IP phones.
• Configure and manage Cisco Meeting Server for enterprise video‑conferencing and collaboration.
• Support and integrate Avaya voice and meeting solutions with Cisco platforms.
• Monitor voice infrastructure, perform upgrades, patch management, backups and routine maintenance.
• Troubleshoot complex IP‑telephony, VoIP and unified communications issues.
• Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 technical support, incident resolution and problem management.
• Develop and maintain documentation, SOPs and knowledge‑base articles.
• Participate in disaster‑recovery planning, testing and business continuity initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Telecommunications or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Cisco and Avaya voice solutions.
• Proven ability to design, implement and optimise large‑scale VoIP and unified communications environments.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
