Service Host – Gourmet Service (Local Talent Preferred)

About the role

The Service Host will support guests across all gourmet service areas of Jayasom Wellness Resort Amaala, delivering high‑level hospitality while embodying the resort’s wellness and sustainability values. The role requires proactive guest interaction, accurate order handling, and strict adherence to hygiene standards.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in daily briefings and maintain effective team communication.
• Build warm, professional relationships with guests to ensure outstanding satisfaction.
• Deliver gourmet service in line with Jayasom Amaala standards, including proper greeting, table setup, order accuracy, and timely food delivery.
• Operate the Micros POS system accurately according to assigned responsibility level.
• Handle guest requests and complaints promptly, courteously, and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, cleanliness, and sanitation standards across all service areas.
• Support inventory control, daily operational reports, and special guest arrangements.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures of gourmet service outlets.
• Participate in trainings, tastings, inspections, and continuous service‑improvement initiatives.
• Stay updated on service and culinary trends and share feedback with leadership.

Required profile

• BA in Hotel Management or an equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in a similar role within a luxury resort environment, including pre‑opening exposure.
• Progressive experience delivering high‑quality service standards.
• Strong knowledge of food regulations and health‑and‑safety standards.
• Familiarity with hotel information systems such as Opera, Fidelio, and Micros Symphony.
