Shipping Coordinator

About the role

The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for managing daily shipping activities to ensure timely, accurate, and cost‑effective delivery of products. This position works closely with warehouse, logistics, procurement, sales and customer service teams to maintain smooth flow of goods.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily shipping operations and guarantee on‑time dispatch of orders.
• Prepare and verify shipping documents, invoices, packing lists and delivery notes.
• Schedule shipments with freight carriers, logistics providers and transport companies.
• Monitor shipment status, provide updates to internal teams and customers, and resolve delays, damages or discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate shipment records, reports and logistics databases.
• Verify freight charges and support cost‑control initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety standards and transportation regulations.
• Assist in improving shipping processes and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Proven experience in shipping, logistics, freight coordination or warehouse operations.
• Familiarity with shipping documentation and transportation procedures.
• Experience working with ERP/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle or similar preferred).
• Strong communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
